Initial Consultation
Every PureSmile Cosmetic whitening treatment starts with a consultation. Our experienced teeth whitening & dental professional will discuss any queries you might have about the whitening process before your treatment, such as how much does teeth whitening cost.
During this consultation, we assess your initial shade and note your lifestyle habits so your treatment can be tailored to your needs in order to get your teeth whitened efficiently. Our PureSmile technician will explain what will happen during the treatment and make you comfortable in our special teeth whitening chair.
PureSmile Teeth Whitening Treatment
Your tooth enamel will be gently cleaned and your gums will be protected with our Vitamin E and Aloe Vera formula, our custom made teeth whitening gel will be applied to your teeth ensuring both bottom and top teeth are evenly covered. PureSmile technicians undergo extensive training to tailor the whitening gel application from person to person. Our LED light activates the gel to break down stain particles and whiten tooth enamel. The gel will be reapplied every 15 or 20 minutes for the duration of the treatment time.
The actual treatments for whitening teeth will take between 45- 60 minutes depending on the selected whitening package but we recommend allocating additional 15 minutes of your time for your complimentary full consultation and after care advice.
After Care & Take Home Teeth Whitening Products
Following the whitening teeth procedure, we recommend you do not consume any staining drinks or staining food for at least 24 hours and refrain from smoking as it would have a negative effect on your results. You will be emailed after-care instructions, to act as a reminder when you go home.

How long until i can eat/drink after treatment?
For the first 24 hours we would recommend to avoid coffee, dark coloured soft drinks, red wines, berries etc. Remember if it stains a t-shirt it will stain your teeth.
Will it work on caps and crowns?
It will remove stains from caps and crowns but will not change the original colour.
Who can benefit from the treatment?
Almost everyone.
Can the light burn?
No, the light is a cold light which produces no heat.
How long will the process last?
Up to two years is not unusual when observing good dental hygiene.
